Dr. Abernathy staff was very attentive to my needs. I called and they got me right in for my Vertigo. When I arrived Dr. Abernathyb and his staff were so helpful and got me right in. Medical care in the USA today reduces the patient to “just another number.” Not at Lake Norman Chiropractic! The staff calls you by your first name when you enter and they make you feel as if you are the only patient they have from the time you enter until the time you leave. The treatments I received from Todd were spot on and resolved my pain in 3 visits. I actually looked forward to my appointments. I hope I never need their services again and even if I don’t I am probably going to stop by and visit occasionally. Highly recommend! -Von J.

I am a happy girl that has found a great Chiropractor! Todd and the ladies helped me feel very welcome. I had a pinched nerve in my neck for 4 weeks. I looked up chiropractors in my area so I could schedule an appointment in hopes that when I left I would feel so much better. The doctor did not take x-rays or examine me in any way. I left that office still in pain and I continued to see him 5 more days…..still have pain. I wished I had selected Lake Norman Chiropractor from the beginning. Had been in a car accident and was going to physical therapy about 2 times a week if not more. The physical therapy wasn’t doing me any good and decided that I needed to take another road to recovery. Dr. Todd had been working on my shoulder for a while and my orthopedic doctor told me I needed surgery. I could not lift my arm past shoulder level and I was dropping things. Dr. Todd suggested that I try Cold Laser Therapy because I did not want to go through surgery. After 4 or 5 Laser Treatments, I started to notice that the pain was not as bad and sometimes the pain would actually go away. After 10 treatments, I could actually sleep on that side again. After 3 months, I have almost no pain with doing all of my daily chores around the house. -T.S.

I have been having low back and knee pain forever. I have always worked on my feet on concrete floors and just assumed that the pain was something that I would have to deal with forever until I met Dr. Abernathy. After getting Foot Leveler Inserts and Dr. Abernathy adjusting me, I feel like a new man. After the first adjustment and my first day at work with the inserts, my pain was decreased over 50%. I have always had some pain in my low back but last year after working in the yard all day, I could not move. I could not walk, sit or stand. The pain was horrible. Dr. Abernathy put me on Decompression and after 1 treatment, I was 45% better. After 3 treatments, I was back to my old self, except feeling better. Just to be safe, l come in every month just to have a decompression treatment so I never feel that bad again. -Chris C.
